Customer Project 66 - continued
Melange chandelier and the Appareil.

Carla & I were thrilled to pay another visit to our client Tim’s beautiful Tunbridge Wells project to see the progress since our last post here.

We started working on project 66 a year ago and it is an absolute feast for the senses.

Our lovely client Tim has such a keen eye for detail and an appetite for originality which he has applied to every square inch of the house build projects we've work on with him over the last 4 years.

Melange Elongated Sconces.

We love building close relationships with our clients and working with them over a number of years.

Trillion and Adele.

They say never work with animals…unless of course the cat in question is better at modelling the lights!

Kitchen lighting is always one of the biggest decisions in a lighting scheme as it needs to perform on so many levels - functional, directional, task, decorative, mood-setting…

There has been much discussion over the last year about the kitchen lighting in this project and I am so pleased Tim settled on this Kelly Wearstler chandelier above the kitchen island.

A beautiful sculptural piece with geometric form that creates the perfect contrast against the curve of the stone under and that of our Appareil chandelier behind it. I may be biased because I had the black bronze version in my last kitchen, but I really love the floating alabaster discs that are drenched in light thanks to the integrated uplighters under each stone disc.

After hours… once the cooking is done, the dishwasher is loaded and the children are in bed, our clients can implement our favourite lumière motto “Netflix, chill and talk about your favourite lights”. This time in moonlight…

I am getting increasingly excited to see this project complete.

Love and light
