The air was hot and there was a delicious salty breeze coming from the sea in the distance; as I stepped out onto the balcony of our client’s beautiful coastal home it quite literally took my breath away: “Wow. I can actually feel the soul of this place in my body right now”, I whispered- deeply inhaling the beautiful long sweeping views which draws the eye out towards the shimmering sea.
These lovely clients came across lumière while on a day trip to Tunbridge Wells to sign the exchange contract on a house there. We helped them with the lighting for their stunning coastal retreat and they were so pleased with the service they received from Carla and her team that they booked a site visit with me for their Tunbridge Wells renovation project (which we hope to also share in the coming months).
The
Agnes pendants provide task lighting over the island while setting the perfect mood in this ocean blue kitchen with exceptional views overlooking fields, sand dunes and the sea. The gild interior of each pendant provides a beautiful, soft, flame-like glow for peaceful summer evenings and creates a feeling of warmth in the cooler months.

Cubist chandelier mirrors the contemporary lines and glass walls of this slick new build. The Cubist also offers a striking welcome as you enter the home, right before your attention turns to the views through the open doorway.
Guests are treated to a calming bedroom with cool tones and double aspect sea views. The
Desmond open lantern subtly floats beautifully within a pitched roof. Under it, the bed is framed on either side by
Kate Spade Mini Corbin lamps in a black pearl finish.
