SGS Designs Creative Director Sophie Stevens, heads a strong girl gang of talented and creative women and they have been one of our longest standing clients. In fact I think they ordered from me before I officially launched 4 years ago!
SGS cover both residential and commercial projects across Kent, London and Spain. I have loved seeing SGS use our lights to flavour such a broad spectrum of these creations (as seen in the images here).
It is difficult to choose a favourite project as all their designs emit a rich palette of textures and materials to create a luxurious space. The beautiful bedrooms at The Beacon and the stunning cocktail bar Charlotte’s at the Pantiles have been thoroughly enjoyed by my team and I.
However, I think that secret bedroom behind the Jib doors, framed in our Kelly Wearstler lights ticks all my boxes and blows my mind!
Sophie says: “We used a jib door concealed within bespoke joinery to ensure privacy for the bedrooms and separation from the living areas. Also hidden within the joinery is a bar and on the other side, coat storage and laundry. Every millimetre of space has been designed for practical London apartment living, practically perfect in every way!”
I cannot wait to see their next project reveal.
